3. Account Access and Password Security
- Do not create your password from easily guessable personal information (date of birth, phone number, consecutive numbers, etc.) and do not use your password in more than one place. Do not share your account password with anyone.
- For your account security, it is important not to leave your device without securely ending your session.
- If you receive any redirection or a link or password-change request via SMS or email, perform this action only through our official website or application. Otherwise, your identity or transaction security will be at risk.
- You should not use insecure wireless networks and should not carry out transactions over networks belonging to publicly shared places such as internet cafés, airports, hotels and dormitories.
4. Fraud, Fake Notifications and Suspicious Transactions
- If you think you have been defrauded and/or that your information has been compromised, please contact us as soon as possible on our telephone line 0216 994 0 994.

If you suspect such fraud, please contact us as soon as possible on our telephone line 0216 994 0 994.
- If people identifying themselves as police officers, prosecutors, public officials or Fairpay employees ask you for money over the phone, never trust them; in such a case, apply to the nearest police unit.
- If you are asked to pay for a product advertised online, an item up for auction or a virtual service, but the product or service does not actually exist, you should bear in mind that such requests may constitute fraud and should not act on them.
- If a cheque showing an amount higher than the agreed sum is presented in return for a service or product and you are asked to transfer money under the name of refunding or collecting the excess, you should bear in mind that the cheque presented may be fake. In such a case, do not act on the request and contact us as soon as possible on our telephone line 0216 994 0 994.
